About Us

Founded January 2023, hyp.ed Naga is an organization that aims to provide quality programs and activities for artists, by artists. We developed hyp.ed with the idea that artistry and craft should be supported with spaces, programs, and activities that bring the community together for collaboration, knowledge, and development.

With the continuously growing dance, music, and art scene and communities in Naga and in the Bicol Region, hyp.ed aims to mitigate and support this growth with its expertise and offerings. Hyp.ed's co-founders provide a strong and complimentary dynamic in empowering and supporting Bicolano artists.

Arjay John Madrid

co-founder & Executive director

A seasoned Bicolano professional dancer. He is also the Executive Director and Head Choreographer of Foot Forward. Arjay is a consistent titleholder and top placer in various dance competitions in Bicol, the Philippines, and world.

Recently, his team, Foot Forward represented the Philippines and won the Championship Title in the Small Crew Category of the Dance Supremacy International 2024 World Finals in Tokyo, Japan.

Jude Salvador Buelva

co-founder & Head of business development

An entrepreneur and community builder with a passion to build resources and communities that empowers and supports Bicolanos.

He currently is the Incubation Program Officer of Ateneo de Naga University - MAGIS Technology Business Incubator. He is also the CEO & Founder of Pandalivery, the owner of Cloud Coffee, and a proud member of the Philippine LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

He is also a Master in Innovation and Business at the Asian Institute of Management.
